Located in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains near three major ski resorts, JSC emphasizes experiential learning — internships, research, civic involvement, student exchanges and more — in every major. Students interested in experiencing life in other cultures and communities can study abroad or cash in on JSC’s membership in the National Student Exchange, which provides the opportunity to spend a semester or a year at another college or university in the U.S. or Canada — typically at JSC’s lower tuition rates. The college fields 13 varsity teams competing in NCAA Division III, dozens of intramural sports and student clubs, a student newspaper and radio station, and two student-run literary journals.
