North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is an academic community that prepared students with a curriculum rich in interdisciplinary learning opportunities, cutting edge research, and strong community outreach. The Greensboro Four—who staged the first ever sit-in at a Woolworth lunch counter in 1960—were NC A&T students.

The attractive and diverse campus includes a 600-acre farm yet is only nine blocks from downtown Greensboro. Students have easy access to North Carolina’s scenic mounts and beaches. They can join a fraternity or sorority, particulate in many on-campus clubs, or competes in NCAA Division I sports.
