Daemen College educates undergraduate and graduate students, and expands their viewpoints through service-learning opportunities, clinical and field experiences, internships collaborative research with faculty, and studh abroad opportunities. There are 30+ undergraduate programs and six graduate programs at the school.
Faculty members instill a joy of learning with a focus on elevating human dignity and fostering civic responsibility and compassion. The curriculum is designed to strike the right balance between liberal arts education and strong career preparation. Well-rounded graduates will have mastered skills such as creative problem solving, critical thinking, moral and ethical discernment, affective awareness, sound writing and speaking skills, technical literacy, and civic responsibility. In this tight-knit, supportive environment, pupils are encouraged to participate in open inquiry and debate. Students engage in academic programs as well as exceptional co-op and internships.
Located in a suburban area, Daemen is nearby to the Great Lakes and is just two hour’s drive from Toronto. Students enjoy unscale residence halls and high quality facilities. The school is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, and competes in men’s basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, and track & field, and women’s basketball, cross country, soccer, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.
