Georgia State University is a large urban research university located in the heart of Atlanta. Named one of the top 100 public universities for doctoral degrees, GSU offers 250 BA, master’s, specialist, and doctoral degrees across 100 fields of study. Students can choose to attend day or evening courses, part- or full-time.

The campus includes student housing; a recreation center with racquetball courts, squash court, free weight area, aquatic center, climbing wall, dance & martial arts studios, basketball/volleyball courts, track, lap pool, spa, and sauna; a student-run movie theatre; and a four-million volume library.
