Florida Atlantic University (FAU) is a coed research university located in Boca Raton, Florida. As the first public university in southeast Florida, has awarded more than 110,000 degrees to nearly 105,000 alumni worldwide. Today, the university serves 29,000 freshmen, transfers and graduate students at campuses across southeast Florida, including Dania Beach, Davie, Fort Lauderdale, Jupiter, Port St. Lucie, and Fort Pierce (at the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute).
