Kutztown University of Pennsylvania (KU) is a public university offering a range of programs that prepare graduates for successful careers in business, education, liberal arts & sciences, and visual and performing arts. Students can choose from 24 BA degree, 30 BA degree, five business administration degree, as well as degree programs in social work, leisure & sports studies, library science, fine arts, plus 18 master’s degree programs. Students can also attend credit and non-credit lifelong learning courses.

The majority of the university’s 350+ tenured/tenure track faculty have doctorates or terminal degrees in their field of expertise. Many faculty members are actively engaged in research and writing. The university offers an honors program as well as international exchange, independent study, internship, and study abroad programs.

The university’s 9,800 students come from more than 20 states and nations. Nearly half of the student body lives in residence halls on the 289-acre campus in Berks County, Pennsylvania. The campus also includes a bookstore, expansive library, movie theatre, observatory, game room, coffee house, TV production facility, and more. Students have their choice of 170 clubs, ranking from academic groups to Greek life. Students can also compete in eight men’s and 13 women’s intercollegiate sports clubs.
