The United States Air Force Academy is a four-year military service academy with a challenging environment. This highly selective institution focuses on building high moral character and achievement in academics, athletics, and leadership skills. Cadets are pushed to their physical and emotional limits to expand upon what they can achieve.
The school faculty includes leaders, professionals, and officers from civilian and military life who focus on not only building students’ skillsets in a particular subject matter but also preparing them to be leaders. The university offers more than 30 different majors and 18 research centers. Majors range from engineering to sciences and humanities, taught in a seminar approach to instruction whenever possible. The small class sizes encourage communication between students and instructors. Princeton Review ranked the academy in the top 1% of schools where “Professors Make Themselves Available”.
